Crack’s latest mix comes fresh from techno newcomer Decka. The Bristol producer’s sub-driven sound channels Berlin’s industrial menace with a dark, rave-inspired intensity. It’s no surprise that his stomping, syncopated sound marries influences from his hometown and the German capital. Decka has been releasing on the Berlin-based label SPE:C – a relatively new operation from Greissmuele resident Darwin – and his new EP Isolated is a perfect example of his skill for winding seamlessly in and out of sweltering bass weight and raw, stripped back techno.
His mix for Crack is a dubbed out journey through pounding textures propelled by a tense, intoxicating velocity. Check it out over at Crack.
