The Parisian festival has Ricardo Villalobos, Marcellus Pittman, MCDE and DJ Deep playing its third edition, which will take place in Paris from June 4th through June 7th.
The festival moves to a new venue this year, though organisers are keeping the exact location under wraps for now. This space will be used for an opening concert on Thursday, June 4th, as well as the main festival on June 5th and 6th.
The first batch of acts has been revealed, with Ricardo Villalobos, Abdulla Rashim, Antigone, Cassy, Jeremy Underground, Josh Wink, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Marcellus Pittman, Perbec (AKA Mark Broom and Baby Ford) and Seven Davis Jr locked in for DJ sets, while Mr. G, Xosar, Peter Van Hoesen and Schwarzmann (AKA Henrik Schwarz and Frank Wiedemann) will play live. There will also be a first-ever live slot from the trio of Vatican Shadow, Ron Morelli and Low Jack.
A number of local artists have also been announced. Unforseen Alliance—AKA Zadig, Antigone, Birth Of Frequency and Voiski—are confirmed for a live slot. DJ Deep and Roman Poncet will debut their live show, as will Concrete resident S3A.
More about Weather 2015—including the location and additional acts—will be revealed in the coming weeks and months. In the meantime Weather’s first winter edition will take place in Paris on Saturday, February 21st, with Robert Hood, Laurent Garnier and Derrick May among the artists performing.
